This was one of the first books I read on wattpad and had popped into my recommendations and I was honestly hooked as soon as I read the first chapter itself. I love romance and these two surely knew how to make me feel emotions and things I didn't even know I could feel. I had butterflies through out the book and the author was honestly, surprisingly very good at cliffhangers and keeping us at suspense. My possessive bodyguard was a wonderful, enthralling read that I have re-read over a dozen times because I can't get enough of it.
The writing is very good as well and even though some people might complain about the plot being slightly cliche, I absolutely loved it! It kept me feeling all giddy and happy. There were a whole lot of plot twists and turns in the story that made me gasp. spoiler-ehm *clears throat* and I loved that one steamy scene on the airplane! Makes me want to be a member of the mile high club myself...

This book also made me appreciate men in suits more and wish I could find myself a Nathan somehow. Hannah's character was perfectly relatable, just as it should be! I could feel myself be in her shoes and see everything through her eyes. All in all, I loved all the cute romance, the over the top drama in this book and wish that this can be turned into a damn movie someday because it is that amazing.

I can't say that I completely enjoyed this story but found that it was a bit repetitive and at time became a boring read for me. I chose this story as a challenge read for one of my book club but just could not get into the story as much as explained in the description. Not my cup of tea.
I couldn't get past chapter 2. There was nothing in the main character that interested or hooked me into wanting to continue the book.
Way too much backstory and not enough drama moving the story forward. Poor character development or poor portrayal of the characters within the story. Not my cup of tea.

My god the grammar. And the repetiveness. And what about George? What happened to that guy? :/ also predictable. Sorry. I wanted to like it.

Sloppy writing story not believable. Needs major editing as some of the sentences dont make sense. Good thing it was free.

At first I didn't know if the title really represented the story. I was thinking it just seemed like a story about the daughter of a celebrity and her bodyguard and they have an attraction. Then as the story went on and more danger was near I saw the possessiveness and holy alpha male! Talk about hot! He was never out of line. He was her protector. Hannah is the daughter of a famous movie star. Nathan is her bodyguard ever since her brother was shot. Pretty soon Nathan is her life line. Throw in a guy best friend to make him jealous and then sexual chemistry these two can't deny and you have a crazy romantic adventure. Then be ready to be blow away by a truth that makes everything so clear. I loved this story. I hope there is more from the supporting characters.This is a must read/listen for all romance and suspense fans. This narrator was the perfect voice for this story. She had me hanging on to each word.

I love this book so much, to me it is so unique and different. I feel like all the characters are amazing and they are well developed, along with the entire story. It really pulls you in and makes you feel a vast range of emotions, I started crying while reading this book, don't judge. The plot was good. The execution of it could have used a little more umph. I loved Nathan and Hannah and they were so cute. However—some things they said or how they acted made me cringe a little bit.

This is book is one of the best books I have ever read. I fell in love with Nathan and Hannah as soon as I started and have re read the book a million times since. Full of love, comedy and hint of drama and action, My Possessive Bodyguard is sure to make you feel emotions you never knew you had, and it will also make you dream of having a Nathan of your very own.

My Possessive Bodyguard definitely surpassed my expectations. I used to read a range of novels on Wattpad...some good and some bad... and found myself really enjoying this one! Although the plot and characters may seem cliché, they are still relatable and the story effectively serves the purpose of a romance novel.

The plot for My Possessive Bodyguard was good in theory and I did enjoy this read in that regard. However, if you are into slow burn romances, this is not for you.

Hannah and Nathan's relationship develops quickly right from the start and, whilst was beautiful in its own way, I personally feel that more attention could have been allocated to character and plot development . It almost felt a little rushed in places and did not provide me with the adrenaline rush I would usually expect with this t

Nevertheless, I did not expect the plot twist at the end and I believe that the author did well to mask where the threat Hannah and her family faced was coming from. Hannah felt a little under developed for my taste, however Nathan is a character any romance reader could easily fall for.

I cannot say that I would actively seek to read the book again, however it was an enjoyable read for when you need an easy and quick escape from reality!

This used to be one of my absolute favourite books (which is the reason for its higher-than-what-I'd-rate it rating). I had read this so many times before on wattpad, but this time when I read it (after a long long time), it just....didn't feel like it was it. I appreciated this book more for the nostalgia that it brought about, instead of the story. It's a good story, not going to lie, but it's a little unpolished (especially considering it's published now and everything). Cute!

I enjoyed this very much and was a pretty quick read. I liked the development between Nathan and Hannah. You could see their relationship grow and was easy to see how much they cared for one another. One thing that left me questioning was what happened with Hannah's brother Nick. I haven't really read many new adult romances but I really enjoyed this one. At some points it was a little too mushy for me but that could be because I'm not a very lovey dovey person 😂. In the end, this was a cut

WOW! That is the only word that I have to say. I finished this book in 2 days. 2 DAYS?!? I have never in my life read a book this fast.
It wasn't a slow burn but it wasn't fast either, it was perfect. The way the writer pulled you into the story, made you love the characters, it made you feel like you were in it; in a way.
If you ever plan on reading this, DO IT!!!
It's 1000000% worth it. You might say "oh it's a Wattpad story, I'm not going to read it" but it's so different and not cringe like so WOW! That is the only word that I have to say. I finished this book in 2 days. 2 DAYS?!? I have never in my life read a book this fast.

Where to start?

This story was not bad. The editing was horrendous! My eleven year old granddaughter would have done a better job. I don't like how Nick's shooting was left. It seemed an awfully ridiculous way to leave it. The thing that happened in Miami went against Steve not wanting her to get hurt. That whole reason behind the thing that happened to Hannah was pretty weak.

I think with some guidance this author could become a pretty decent writer.

This was my first Jamilexis Gallardo's book, and won't be my last. Nathan and Hannah's story is suspenseful, sweet, and sexy. The storyline is fast-paced and twisted. I love the ending. Connie Shabshab is a new narrator to me. She has a great voice, easy to understand. This is THE book that introduced me to romance. I was never into books growing up and as soon as I started this one I was captivated. I fell in love with Nathan and I fell in love with Nathan and Hannah's relationship. Everything was amazingly written. The only thing I would change is add a little bit more spice. But other than that, it is perfect.
